Pet Taxi

Pawtropolis offers a Pet Taxi service as a convenient to owners. Many of our clients work typical long days and have a hard time making trips to the vet. Sometimes in the rush of getting ready for a trip it is easier to have Pawtropolis come and pick up your pets for you and bring them to the facility for boarding. Whatever your pet transportation needs are the Pet Taxi can arrange a safe ride.

Requirements:

• All animals on transport must provide proof of rabies.
• All animals must be wearing collar with identification.
• We will only transport a female dog in season if she is the only dog on the trip, owner must provide towels and bedding that can be replaced throughout the trip in order to keep her area clean.
• We will not transport sick animals (minor ailments such as ear infections are allowed).
  
  
  

Local Driving Prices:

To/From Pawtropolis within 10 miles: $25.00
Each additional 5 miles: $3.00

From Pawtropolis to vet within 10 miles: $15.00
Each additional 5 miles: $3.00

From Home to Chosen Destination: $35.00
15 total miles
Each additional 5 miles: $3.00

Vet Office Visit: $25.00
Per 30 minutes at office
We will stay with your pet during their exam. Price is in addition to the travel fee. Return trip is included in the price.

Long Distant Driving Prices:

Long distant driving prices are determined by a combination of the following:

$1.25/mile for 3 or less animals:
This covers all gas and wear to the Pet Taxi vehicle, one staff member to drive and care for the dogs, covers stops along the way for potty breaks. We provide the crates for travel and water. If you would like the animal to be fed along the way you'll simply need to provide food.

$1.50/mile for 4 to 8 animals:
When there are 4 or more animals we require two staff members to go on the transport. The additional fee covers the additional staff member.

$1.75/mile for 9 to 15 animals (the maximim number of animals will be determined by size of the animals on transport):
Two staff members will be on this transport. The extra money is to cover the extra amount of time it will take on potty breaks and the extra work to handle such a large number of dogs.

$80.00/night:
If an overnight visit is required the amount will help cover hotel expenses. Food and other necessities will be covered by the staff.

For Rescues:
When doing transport for licensed rescues we waive the overnight fee. Sometimes we can do additional discounts depending on the distance of the trip and number of animals. Contact us at Pawtropolis@aol.com for questions.
