Pawtropolis has a great Pet Boutique. Our goal is to carry items that you may not be able to find other places, items like dog backpacks, training gear and toys that are specific for small or large breeds. We also carry basic items like beds and bowls. We are proud to offer some of the best pet foods. We do extensive research to make sure we are only carry brands that we feel proud to sell and recommend. We may not carry every brand, but you can rest assured that if we sell it, you can trust feeding it to your pet.

While visiting our Pet Boutique be sure to look up. You will find our large flat-screen TV playing live feed from our Doggie and Kitty Cams recording all the action!

Pet Food: We are proud to sell only a select few quality dog food brands. If you would like to learn more about the brands we sell we encourage you to visit their websites below. We are also proud that we use Natural Balance as our house food. Yes, it is more expensive then normal "kennel feeds" but we feel good nutrition is vitally important for healthy pets.

Summer's Featured Product

There are many products on the market to help your pet stay cool during the hot summer months. One of the items is called the "Gulpy." The gulpy is your dog's own water bottle. It has a fold down bowl-like attachment that allows you to pour water into it with ease, all in one convenient package. Great for long hikes, car rides or just a day at the park.

Also available are the fill-a-bones that you fill with water and then freeze. This gives your dog a cool summer toy that can bring both entertainment and refreshment when it is super hot outside.

July/August Special

Many people think that dog backpacks are simply a novelty item. Actually backpacks are beneficial for dogs for a number of reasons. First off, many owners do not have the time to give their dogs a long enough walk. Most dogs need over a mile or two to get fully tired and exercised. If you add a backpack you can make a 20-minute walk feel like a 40-minute walk. It helps the dog to expend more if his or her energy then with a regular walk alone. Also, many dogs walk better with the backpack on. Dogs like shepherds, hunters, etc. like to have jobs...a purpose...wearing a backpack gives them that purpose. Dogs begin to get excited just when seeing the owner get the backpack out. You can add weights (in the form of water bottles or can food) depending on what your dog needs. Pawtropolis staff can help you determine how much weight to add. This can also have your dog carrying his own water. (Less work for you.)
