Cats for Adoption

Cats can only be adopted to indoor homes and to families that will promise not to have them declawed. If you are interested in any of the cats listed visit the "Adoption Procedure" page for information on how to adopt.

We also have a courtesy page for individuals looking to place their pet. Please visit our Courtesy Listing page as well for both dogs and cats.

Help with our 10 Year Anniversary Goal!

Pawtropolis will turn 10 years old December 1st and we also want to celebrate the success of Helping Paws Rescue. The rescue was established about 6 months after the opening of Pawtropolis. Since then we've rescued over 650 pets. We've been able to do this due to the generous donations of our supporters. I have a crazy goal. I want to raise $10,000 for Helping Paws Rescue by our 10th Anniversary. People say it's impossible. What can I say, I'm a dreamer and I like to dream big. There's a part of me that thinks this could really happen.

There are several ways you can donate. Our Chip-In Goal Thermometer to the right allows you to contribute just by hitting the "Chip-In" button. You can also call Pawtropolis at 706-227-7887 or mail donations to 130 Whitetail Way, Bogart, GA 30622.
Thanks in advance for your help.

We have several of our Doggie Easter Egg Hunt shirts available. For anyone that donates over $20 we'd love to give you one. We don't have all sizes (I believe we have lots of smalls and mediums) but you are welcome to come see.

Audrey
Audrey enjoying some affection.

AudreyAudrey caught my attention when I was rescuing dogs from Gwinnett Animal Control. Though you could only see the cats through the glass she still tried to get affection from me by rubbing up against the glass. She was dying to have someone pet her. We spent a little bit of time with her in the visitors room and even though animal control is a scary environment for cats she was still outgoing and friendly.

Though Audrey is still learning her environment here and is a bit nervous, she has still be nothing but friendly to everyone. Even during her vaccines she was able to be handled just fine. When we introduced her to our Kitty City she immediately came out and started exploring. She hissed once at my cat and then went on her way. I think she would do just fine in a home with other cats.

AudreyI'm sure Audrey is a mixture of breeds but she looks very much like a Maine Coon. The vet's best guess about age is 5, but he knows he could be off a few years either direction. Audrey can only go to a home where she will live only indoors. She also can never be declawed. Her adoption fee is $100.

Featured Guest
Featured guest pet Meet Bacchus. Talk about a big boy. Bacchus may be big but he's all puppy. He loves to play, running around outside with all his other large dog friends. Having a bad day? Just let Bacchus give you a big kiss and you can't help but smile.

Featured Adoptable
Featured Adoptable Meet Margie. Margie was scheduled to be adopted from Gwinnett Animal Control. When the family showed up and saw that she had sores on her skin they decided they didn't want her. Poor Margie's skin looks horrible. She suffered from the non-contagious mange. Though she's feeling much better her skin has a long way to go to look normal. Many people are passing her over because of this. Learn more about her story on the "Dogs for Adoption" page.
